“You think this is pretty? You think this is art?” In 2008, the São Paulo municipal government decided to begin a policy of urban cleansing, where the walls of the city would be painted grey in order to erase the graffiti art engraved on them. However, in July of that same year, one of the walls that were painted over was a 700 meter long mural that had already been painted by several artists, including the acclaimed duo Os Gêmeos. Following the São Paulo graffiti scene, the documentary exposes the city’s narrow minded attitude towards culture and its complete lack of urban planning.
