Sobre o filme

Don and Donatella are in the throes of getting a divorce, but still live under the same roof. He is unemployed and spends the day on the razzle, trading toys from his collection with friends. She works as a counterstacker operator in a factory. Their son Don Jr. age 11, lives in the midst of the battleground which, to him, is home. After a fight, Don builds a wall down the middle of the house to divide his world from that of Donatella?s. When he decides to throw a party, the tension between them augments, resulting in a series of accusations and insults. Furious, he joins forces with friends to break up his wife?s car. With no support from the police or from her politically correct lover, Marion, she decides to take justice into her own hands by destroying Don?s car. Things are worse when a rocket-launcher, used for protection against her husband, explodes in Donatella?s car. The police arrive on the scene of the fray, she has a bout of hysteria and is arrested. Don later regrets all he did and succombs to a nervous breakdown. Even in the midst of chaos, all, it would seem, is not lost.
