Everything Is Fine, We`re Leaving (2000)
Sobre o filme
All seems to be going well enough, but history will show that appearances can be misleading. Three girls live in Lyon, in France, in an atmosphere of shared happiness. Laure is the oldest sister, who manages the house and the school for tango that she inherited from her father. Beatrice attained financial success: she is rich, generous, and for this reason, regards herself as indispensable. And Claire, the youngest, is a pianist of talent not recognized. She bothers everyone, but all are fond of her, which is normal, after all, in that she is the youngest. Each one of the three sisters, feels absolutely essential to the happiness of the others. They are happy with their way of living with no notion whatsoever of what is about to take place. Their father reappears after an absence of 15 years. As from then, it is each unto herself. Individually, they have to cope with dependence and similarities to this father who, at different stages, was so hated. A man in their lives, even if a father, and only there on his way through, is to break harmony and stability for the sisters. After all, trouble-makers are invariably on their way through. To them, things are more fun this way.
