They are prisoners - behind barbed wire, fearful for their lives, and dreaming of the world beyond. Every attempt at flight is severely punished. These are difficult days for all. This, however, is not a prison just like any other. They are prisoners of the Tweedy Egg Dairy Farm, a place where a chicken who does not collaborate at breakfast, will collaborate at dinner. Ginger is not a hen like any other. Together with her companion, Rocky, they will have to race against time to prevent a tragedy in the hen run, moreso now that Tweedy is about to launch Tweedy Chicken Pie on the market. The electrifying plot for Chicken Run is by two of the most talented professionals in cartoons: English directors Peter Lord and Nick Park, both awarded an Oscar. Forty animators worked in two separate teams, under supervision of each one of the directors, to make the chickens run.
