Dirt (2003)
Sobre o filme
Dolores is from San Salvador living illegally in the U.S. in a house in the Bronx with her husband and her teenaged son. She works as a cleaning woman in apartments in the wealthy areas in Manhattan. Her husband loses his job and she loses one of her clients, all of which prevents them from continuing to send money to El Salvador, where they are building a house. The son is ever more rebellious and Americanized and has no interest whatsoever in returning to a country he does not know. In spite of chronic difficulties and the lack of prospects, Dolores preserves her dignity and continues to believe in her dreams.
