Kazuya has not been exactly lucky lately. He was dismissed from the job by his own father, Yoshiki, who works in the same company. His mother, Shinobu, married again, which he found extremely disquieting and which left him, largely, without support. Kazuya must find some consolation and, so, goes to a cabaret where he meets a girl, Sachiko. They talk to each other, become interested in one another, and make a date for the following Sunday. The next few days will not be easy for Kazuya. Sunday is drawing closer. Strong feelings are to mark the day for Kazuya.
