Paradiso – Seven Days With Seven Women (1999)
Sobre o filme
"No Trespassing", reads the sign. This is a matter of no concern, for this paradise is not locked. The sign is there merely so that the young man whose birthday it is will not enter the room where his birthday celebrations are to be and ruin what is meant to be a surprise.Famous composer Adam Bergschmidt will be 60, and he invites the seven most important women in his life to his "paradise", an exotic hideaway on the edge of a lake in Mecklemburg-Pomerania.All seven were on intimate terms with Adam. For seven days they while away their time on walks, talking to each other and going back over moments spent together. All stages of his life are revisited with new experiences brought to the surface. What began as a loving family celebration of the past, even though to a certain extent, it might be seen as a risk, ends full of hope as regards the future. Now sixty, Adam has apparently achieved all he wanted of life: to build a house, to get a woman pregnant, and to plant a tree. Now he has all he needs.
