Lucky, a young man in his mid-twenties, decides to go back to the Philippines for the first time since he had been adopted, at the age of one, by a Canadian family. The only information he had left there is an existing brother, still leaving in the slum’s area of Manila, where all his family came from. This journey will be for Lucky a chance to connect with his roots, to find his real family and, most of all, to make peace with the past, accept the present and be able to build a future that looks like him.
