Eyes of the Holocaust (2001)
Sobre o filme
Eyes of the Holocaust was made as from an edition of statements by Hungarian survivors of the Holocaust, images on file, and original scenes filmed by Director János Szász. The film is divided into segments presented by a girl who looks up an encyclopedia under headings such as “Anti-semitism”, “Ghetto”, “Deportation” and “Crematorium”. “The film focuses on the experiences of survivors who were children during the Holocaust. I dedicate this film to the 1.5 million children who perished and to those who survived who, in turn, eventually had children of their own”, says the director, son of two survivors from the great genocide in the Second World War. Randolph L. Braham, himself a survivor, acted as adviser for the production.
