Hi Tessa (2001)
Sobre o filme
In Poland, they are also known as the “blockers generation”, born and bred in condominiums of prefabricated apartments, a heritage from the communist period. They are youngsters in the bracket of fifteen years of age, a generation whose motto it is to live the moment, with no plans whatsoever for life, in total ignorance of traditions and values. If they fail to recognize any notion of “good”, they also do not know when “evil” is manifest. Tereska is a typical “blocker”. She enrolls in a fashion school for she wishes to become a dress designer. Tereska makes friends with Renata and is soon to smoke her first cigarette, try her first glass of wine, experience her first kiss... And rape. Solitary as she is, she continues her quest for true affection and love. This, however, will not be at all easy to find in the school, at home, or among her friends. Tereska’ lonely life, moving in broad strides towards tragedy, is sad and frightening, but true.
