What to Do in Case of Fire (2001)
Sobre o filme
The story of six anarchists living in a house in Berlin in the eighties. They have occupied the house, which was to all intents and purposes abandoned, at a time in which the city is as yet a capitalist island in the midst of communist Germany. They lead a life, free, in the belief that they are far from the influence of any government. Meanwhile, they assemble a bomb and hide it. At the end of the decade, they each go their separate ways, with the exception of Tim and Hotte who continue to believe in community life and struggle by every means for their ideals. The others have married, had children, now drive a Mercedes, and make millions working with an advertising company. This is the year 2000, with Berlin once more the capital of all Germany, now unified. The explosion of the bomb made so many years ago, brings the group together once more. They try to discover what drove them apart before.
