Big Shot`s Funeral (2001)
Sobre o filme
Don Tyler is a well-known film maker with a goodly number of commercial successes. He is making an epic film about Peking, on the last emperor of the Qing dynasty. After a particularly difficult scene, the director realizes he can not go on: he has lost his self-confidence and no longer knows how to carry on with the filming. He looks for inspiration for a new film that will restore his creative force. He enters into conversation with an adept of Buddhism and, because of an error in translation, he believes that the Chinese bury their dead in a kind of comic ceremony. He becomes obsessed with the idea of filming one of these ceremonies, but can not imagine the consequences.
