The paths of three students of different nationalities cross in the elevator of an anonymous student block in Munich. Since they don’t know each other, they will never find out how much they have in common: Clara, Motek and Sin are strangers in Germany. They’re longing for acceptance and warmth, searching for a spark of the feeling we call home. Polish writer and director Tomasz E. Rudzik lived in one of the massive blocks of this neighborhood and became inspired to break the circle of disinterest in the person next door. Out of many stories he got to know in this time, three obsessed his mind and became the plot of his film. A deaf-mute guy from Latvia invites a girl to spend a day with each other without speaking. A Romanian girl tries to catch God’s attention by testing the limits of the Ten Commandments. A Chinese guy discovers first love while helping a teenage rebel fall in love with mathematics.
