The Bank (2001)
Sobre o filme
Market, corruption, and alchemy. Jim Doyle, is a genius at mathematics in search of a magic formula that will predict the future of the shares on the Stock Exchange and any imminent crash. The potential of software he devised spurs the imagination of ambitious Simon O’Reilly, CEO of Centabank. O’Reilly’s daring managerial style, in addition to his negative performances are under harsh criticism by the council of shareholders of the bank. He desperately searches for the miracle that is to save him from imminent dismissal and Doyle?s program has everything to become his salvation. Persuaded by O’Reilly, he assumes a position in the Centabank, where he will have all the technological and financial means to improve his software to perfection. But the greed and the thirst for power will dampen this pact.
