Nogo (2001)
Sobre o filme
A gasoline station in the middle of nowhere is a reassuring sight. It may be indicative of ways, cater to needs, or be taken merely as a point of reference. This is so for many people and mainly for three couples: Joe and Maria, Lisa and Tom, and Rosa and Sam. They are the protagonists in three autonomous episodes that make up Nogo. Joe and Maria resort to the gas station as a refuge against the external world. To Lisa and Tom, the gas station is an opportunity to build life anew. After they have, quite by chance, become involved in a bank robbery, Rosa and Sam see the gas station as a stopover in a plan to escape. To all, the gas station can represent a possibility, even if temporary, of freedom, but also the doorway to a series of explosive situations.
