Alessandra, Maria Paola, Marina and Liliana come from different geographical, cultural and social milieu. Their lives crossed in Rome between the end of the sixties and during the seventies. Their stories unfold in a parallel track of women’s history itself and of the Feminist Movement. The idea of a new world arose in the hearts of nearly an entire generation, moving personal experiences into collective ones and bringing to focus themes such as love, work, violence against women, divorce, contraception and abortion.
