Sobre o filme

A story of children and their parents, living in Visalia, an isolated town in up-country California, between Los Angeles and Fresno. The film penetrates the world of four families. It tells the story of three boys and one girl, all of them skate enthusiasts, of their childhood friends and parents. The director focuses on violence, sex, hate, and love. There are scenes of impact, mainly pertaining to repressed sexuality, homosexuality, marital treachery, unwanted pregnancy in adolescence, and psychosis. Director Larry Clark, the same director of the controversial Kids and Bully, does not spare viewers from shocking sequences. The film is the result of a joint effort of director Larry Clark and script writer Harmony Korine, the same twosome from Kids.
