Sobre o filme

Dadah, a Saharawi child who lives in the refugee camp of Dajla, in the inhospitable Sahara, does not know anything but the life in the desert – the school, the games, the world-weariness of adults’ long conversations. In 1975, Spanish troops were going out from Spain’s last colony, Western Sahara. After Spain abandon and fearing Moroccan troops, thousands of Saharawi people abandoned their land and fled then to the desert. They hoped that war would not last so many years. But in the middle of the Algerian Hammada, approximately 200,000 Saharawi live day after day since more than 30 years. They have never stopped to believe in a next comeback to their home, where relatives and friends remained.
