Goldi is crazy about rock and roll and forever in bed with musicians. She dreams of becoming a music star. She is looking for an apartment to rent and finds a garage where a rock band practices - Neglected, with Darby for percussion, Adler on the bass, and Miles on the guitar. She sings with them and, when she sees the show at the weekend, she stays with Darby. On invitation of the group, Goldi moves into the room that the band share and thinks of herself as the up and coming Neglected vocalist. The first show with Goldi as singer is a success. To commemorate, Goldi goes for Adler, but he is not at all interested. She then asks the band to play one of her songs, but they will not agree. During one rehearsal, she has sex with Miles. Soon after, the three boys tell her they no longer want her with them in the band. She is saved from depression by two friends that present her with a guitar. She embarks on a solo career, to the envy of the boys.
