Sobre o filme

Two teenagers living on the opposite side of France one to the other have, for years, spent the summer holidays together on the coast of Brittany and have become fast friends in spite of the distance between them. Gwen is happy-go-lucky and revels in the company of the boys from the seaside port city where she lives with her mother and her father who is almost always away. She is ever in hope of quickly becoming adult, so that she won?t have to listen to her parents with their arguments over money. Lise is facing up to the sudden death of her father whom she barely knew, to the extent that she is incapable of understanding how upset her sisters and her mother are. For Lise, there is little else other than to go in search of her friend Gwen, and she leaves for Brittany alone. They are fifteen years old, and they spend a summer marked by vivid contrast: love and hate, smiles and tears, life and death - sensation and feelings that are part of maturing.
