Technicians and friends also talk of the Italian film maker, director of classics such as La Grande Bouffe (1973), Storia di una Ordinaria Folia (1982), Storia de Piera (1983), A Carne (1991), and Nitrato d?Argento, part of the 20th Mostra, in 1996. Interviews were recovered from files in French and Italian television studios and extracts from films, to piece together a veritable jig-saw about the film maker. "I didn?t know him very well; however, working with his films for this documentary, I was completely taken by his talent, fascinated by his manner of talking", says Director Fiorella Infascelli.
