Fast Food, Fast Women (2000)
Sobre o filme
Bella is about to become 35; however, the fact her birthday is close does not enthuse her in the slightest. A resident in Manhattan and a waitress in a café, Bella is proud of her lasting relationship with her husband. Even so, she decides to test out this relationship, give frustrated driver Bruno a chance, and start an affair. So that he will not draw away at her desire to become a mother, she tells him she hates children. Lucky for him, for he has just been abandoned by his wife with two small children. In addition to this conflict, the film presents other delicate and curious relationships. A point in common between them is a prospect of life together, as a couple, with all its delights and setbacks. The café is the setting to several conflicts and settling of scores for couples for, after all, Bella is not alone in questioning her relationships: Emily, a widow, is astonished at a request from Paul, left a widower, to start a new life together. An old man is enchanted at an erotic dance in the café. Attentive as she is, Bella gradually discovers that, at least in New York, anything may happen.
