Sobre o filme

Fangio, made in the early 1970s, is an evocation of a very dangerous sport that was carried out in huge cars painted in nationalistic colours without advertising, where the driver wearing T shirt, soft helmet and tiny goggles literally wrestled with wheel and gear stick, racing at speeds of over 180 miles an hour on narrow tyres and down public roads without safety barriers. It was a different era, which we experience through the eyes and in the words of the greatest racing legend of all time - Juan Manuel Fangio. […] This film rarely seen, having been distributed only in Italy and the Argentine, has a reputation of being a seminal film on the sport.
