A sexual farce about a couple. Dan and Melinda are looking for a sentimental counsellor, Emily Page, to help them to overcome the husband?s impotence. She forwards them on to a therapist specialized in depression, Dr Roger Klink who is soon making love to the wife in an elevator and becomes her lover. Dan begins on medication to stimulate erection when he has intercourse with his wife: however, he needs no medicine when he makes love to his mistress, a beautiful waitress. When the couple decide to ‘hot things up’ where their marriage is concerned by spending the night in a motel, Dr Klink, in a jealous fit, bursts into the room. The roles are inverted and the couple are soon in the role of counsellors to the professionals that they should be helping.
