Purple Noon (1960)
Sobre o filme
"The young and attractive Tom Ripley is in Italy in order to convince Philippe Greenleaf, his wealthy former friend, to return to America. Little by little, it becomes clear that Philippe has no intention of returning, as he seems to enjoy his bohemian lifestyle with his girlfriend Marge. However, it also becomes clear that Ripley is a dangerous sociopath who envies Philippe’s hedonistic lifestyle and also wants Marge all to himself. When the three of them embark on a yachting trip, he plans to murder Philippe and steal his identity.
Based on Patricia Highsmith’s novel The Talented Mr. Ripley, the film launched Alain Delon’s film career.
