Dark Cities (2002)
Sobre o filme
Several stories are intertwined with loneliness and despair in the great cities as elements in common. Set in the historical center of Mexico City, among bars and palaces, stores and monuments, drugstores and cafés, the characters : police, prostitutes, teenagers, priests, old people, drug addicts, and tramps : wander the streets unaware of how alike they are. The fate of each is associated to the others one way or another; the actions of one influence the future of someone unknown. But the environment is hostile and they are too. The film is a free adaptation of the book ‚ÄòCrónicas del Madrid Oscuro‚Äô, by Juan Madrid.
