Sobre o filme

ian is about 40 years old and is at the stage where he questions his future and his very existence. Jian lives in harmony with his wife Min-Min and their two children Ting-Ting and Yang-Yang, in addition to his mother-in-law. All five live in a fine apartment in Taipei and are obviously a closely-knit, happy, middle class family. Away from home, however, things are not as reassuring. The computerized information company where Jian is partner has accumulated losses and is on the borders of bankruptcy. On the day his brother-in-law is to get married, Jian Jian is given the news that his mother-in-law has been taken to hospital in an emergency and in a state of coma. That same day, he is to be in for another, even greater, shock. He encounters Sherry once more, his first childhood love, whom he had not seen for over twenty years. These are the human dramas that make up this precise report of paradoxical human feeling.
