Arthur is 25 years old, he is an apprentice tailor in the workshop of Albert, 80 years old. Albert likes Arthur like his son, who returns well it to him, and leaves soon to the retirement. He has chosen Arthur like his successor. But one evening, Arthur is taken along to the theatre by his friend Sylvain. He falls insane in love with Marie-Julie, the main actor of the play. To seduce her, Arthur manufactures a small dress to her. The two lovers decide to separate never again, launch out the challenge to give up all to live their love.
